Job Overview:

The Internal Direct Business Consultant will play a key role in supporting initiatives to grow direct business assets and convert them to LPL custody. This position focuses on advisor engagement, operational coordination, marketing outreach, and program execution to ensure smooth and successful transitions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about delivering an exceptional advisor experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Program Coordination & Execution

    • Assist in implementing conversion campaigns and initiatives.

    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of repapering processes.

    • Maintain documentation and track progress for assigned projects.

  • Advisor Support

    • Serve as a resource for advisors during direct business transitions.

    • Provide guidance on tools, processes, and requirements for successful conversions.

    • Help organize educational sessions and prepare supporting materials.

  • Marketing Outreach & Lead Generation

    • Execute targeted marketing outreach campaigns to generate leads for direct business conversions.

    • Collaborate with internal marketing teams to develop messaging and materials.

    • Track outreach effectiveness and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

  • Data & Reporting

    • Monitor and report on conversion activities and advisor engagement.

    • Partner with analytics teams to compile insights and prepare summaries for leadership.

    • Identify process improvements based on feedback and data trends.

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience in financial services, preferably in advisor support, operations, or marketing

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams

Core Competencies:

  • Detail-oriented with strong execution skills

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic data analysis tools

  • Ability to drive marketing outreach initiatives and generate leads


Pay Range:

$65,700-$109,500/year


Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
