Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our Trading Technology team, a critical part of our Technology organization. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable, sustainable software solutions that power our trading platforms and ensure the highest standards of performance and reliability. You will be a part of project planning and execution while collaborating closely with senior engineers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions in an agile environment. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-impact systems that drive trading operations and enhance client experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, tune and implement n-tiered applications while collaborating with Development, Enterprise Architecture and Product teams.

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize and enhance existing systems.

  • Work collaboratively with QA, DevOPS teams to adopt CI/CD tool chain and develop automation.

  • Communicate with technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis as part of product/project support.

  • Design and develop core services and components with expertise in service-oriented architecture.

  • Design patterns and coding best practices

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of extensive web/service development experience with the following technologies: .NET, C#, Microsoft SQL server

  • 3+ years of experience designing applications, developing web services (REST/SOAP) and integrating with vendor APIs.

  • 2+ years’ experience using Containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS cloud services like EKS and Lambda

  • 2+ years of experience with AWS Glue, AWS DocumentDB, AWS Relational Database Service (RDS)

  • 1+ years of experience with CI/CD tools like Octopus/Teamcity, source control tools like GIT, GITHUB

Core Competencies:

  • Excellent understanding of SOA principles and design patterns

  • Excellent understanding and writing of SQL server procedures, Views, functions and designing skills.

  • Excellent understanding of system integration. Great track record of implementing the distributed systems with legacy and modern technical tools.

  • Excellent knowledge of pub/sub messaging technologies and patterns

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and non-technical

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferences:

  • Strong skills in querying languages like SQL and relational databases is required.

  • Knowledge of AWS Cloud Data Ingestion Patterns and Practices

  • Experience with Agile Methodologies: Scrum/Kanban

  • 1+ years of experience of Machine Learning/Deep Learning frameworks, libraries, data structures, and data modeling.

  • 1+ years of experience with Elastic Search & ELK

  • 1+ years of experience with Salesforce CRM tools

  • 1+ years’ experience using Javascript/JQuery, HMTL, CSS

  • 1+ years of experience working on client scripting tools like Angular JS, Type Script, jQuery.

Pay Range:

$106,125-$176,875/year


Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
